Portal Login
Use your KCSE index number + year. First-time password is your birth certificate number or index number. Forgot your password? Use the SMS reset option on the login page.
Application Process
Pay KES 1,500 via M-Pesa, log in, select up to 7 degree courses or 4 TVET courses, arrange in priority order, and submit. Applications open in cycles throughout the year.
Check Placement
Results are posted on the portal after each cycle. Log in to view your placement status. You can also check via SMS by sending your index number to the KUCCPS shortcode.

How to Log In to the KUCCP Portal
Go to the Portal
Visit students.kuccps.net on your phone or computer. You will see the login page with fields for your index number, year, and password.
Enter Your KCSE Index Number
Type your full 11-digit KCSE index number exactly as it appears on your KCSE results slip. Do not add any spaces or special characters.
Select Your KCSE Year
Choose the year you sat for your KCSE examination from the dropdown menu. For the 2026 placement cycle, most applicants select 2025.
Enter Your Password
If this is your first time logging in, use your birth certificate number or your KCSE index number as the password. After logging in, you will be prompted to change your password.
Click Login
Once you have entered all details correctly, click the Login button. Your dashboard will load, showing your application status, available programmes, and payment options.
KUCCP M-Pesa Payment Guide
All KUCCP application fees are paid through M-Pesa. Here is exactly how to pay:

Payment not reflecting? Wait 5-10 minutes for the payment to process. If it still does not show, do not pay again. Contact KUCCPS Finance with your M-Pesa confirmation message. If you made a duplicate payment, contact KUCCPS for a refund.
Common Portal Problems & Solutions
Error 503 — Service Unavailable
The portal is too busy. Try late at night (after 10 PM) or very early morning (before 6 AM). Switch from WiFi to mobile data. Clear your browser cache and cookies.
Error 504 — Gateway Timeout
Same as 503 — the server is overwhelmed. Wait 15 to 30 minutes and try again. Use a different browser. Close all other apps on your phone to free up memory.
Invalid Credentials — Wrong Password
Click 'Forgot Password' on the login page. Enter your KCSE index number. You will get an SMS with a reset code. If no SMS arrives within 5 minutes, contact KUCCPS ICT Support.
Session Expired
The portal logs you out after 30 minutes of no activity. Just log in again. If you are working on a long application, save your progress often.
M-Pesa Payment Not Reflecting
Wait 5 to 10 minutes. Do not pay again. Check that you used the correct Paybill (820201) and account number (index number + year). If the problem continues, contact KUCCPS Finance with your M-Pesa confirmation SMS.
